SINOPSIS

It’s Renna’s biggest job yet – convincing MYTH leadership that she’s put away her lock picks and is ready to save the galaxy, despite the dangerous implant in her brain. Now that MYTH believes she’s a dangerous double-agent, Renna escapes their firing squad before they put more holes in her than a pair of fishnet stockings. Mi opinión

Para quienes no saben, éste libro comienza poco después del final de Star Thief con Renna, de nuevo la narración es en tercera persona y se aprecia más el estilo de escritura de la autora al describir el mundo futurista en el que se desarrolla la historia.

Al igual que en el libro anterior en Athena's Ashes hay bastante acción, Renna quiere saber quién es Pallas y por qué rayos hizo lo que hizo (Nótese que evité los spoilers lo más que pude *guiño*), así que ella hará lo necesario para averiguar qué es lo que Pallas trama ahora, y su identidad, para detener sus planes.

The only thing she'd ever been good at was running away. But if she stayed with Finn, she'd have to me forward. She'd have to learn how to face her problems instead of pushing the aside

El libro está lleno de acción y se recomienda "no dejarlo al alcance de los niños" por el contenido un poco subido de tono, pero estoy un tanto muy en desacuerdo ya que lo más grave que encontré fueron dos escenas un poco eróticas que si fueran quitadas del libro no afectarían en nada, pues la historia no avanza con ésto, es más como que a la autora se le antojó ponerlas ahí y las puso, pero están demás.

En éste libro conocemos a nuevos personajes y se explora un lado distinto de los viejos conocidos, Renna ya no actúa sin medir consecuencias e incluso ya no quiere estar completamente sola pues considera a los tripulantes del Athena su nueva fimila, Finn por fin acepta bien sus sentimientos y... bueno lo que pasa con Viktis y Kenna nadie que haya leído el primer libro se lo espera.

El final, me complació sin embargo quiero seguir leyendo acerca de la tripulación del Athena y todos los personajes,
